Red Frog Design and Boss Design came together in collaboration to deliver a bespoke interior architecture solution for Victoria Plum headquarters at Bridgehead. The company were looking for a refurbishment to the existing offices, with particular areas of interest including a central hub cafe space, open plan offices and a custom-made Directors office.
The same colour theme ran throughout the majority of the building, with a fresh and neutral colour palette of white, pastel greens and blues all the way through. In the reception area, upon entering the building four Jolly chairs upholstered in a grey colour scheme complimented the modern space well.
The design consisted of stylish breakout zones with open plan working to half the office. Shuffle from the Boss Design portfolio and Entente by Lyndon Design were included for the breakout zones to offer private space, or an area for more social interactions.
Using soft seating and collaborative furniture by Boss Design meant the space was turned into a workable area as opposed to space that was redundant.
Meeting rooms were by no means any less considered in the office refurb than the rest of the building. A tailored Directors suite was situated in another section populated with the Q task chair, which combines comfort and aesthetics along with style and functionality. With this, the suite also featured a selection of Page chairs in a light blue fabric, keeping the colour palette consistent throughout.
The kitchen/dining area and adjacent breakout space, included various pieces of furniture from the full Boss collection. Raft seating options, benches and corner units upholstered in Skai Tundra blue and green fabric selection were featured in the main dining area. The modular pieces fit perfectly into the space due to their flexible design, offering endless configuration possibilities if needed.
With the workplace moving towards a more relaxed and healthier environment, flexibility and the feeling of space was an important factor when specifying for the project. Two Event high stools with a white polished frame were specified for a bistro type setting in the recreational area. Alongside this several Imogen modular sofas, Teal benches and a Teal table highlighted the open and spontaneous use of space.
With product selection and product placement being carefully considered throughout the entire refurbishment, RFD and Boss Design together successfully achieved Victoria Plum’s aspirations for a modern, fresh, collaborative working environment..
